The new AMANA PTAC "K" Series introduces integrated Bluetooth & RF connectivity, along with the new AMANA brand mobile app, reducing unit setting & configuration time. This redesigned series eliminates the user-operated control pad for a more modern & streamlined appearance. However, a wired or wireless wall thermostat is required for operation with this re-imagined design.

With Bluetooth & RF connectivity, users can easily access advanced unit features such as troubleshooting & diagnostics through the wired/wireless thermostat or the AMANA brand mobile app. Improved design & materials in the PTAC reduce operating noise transmission, creating a quieter environment for occupants. The Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating ensures quieter operation compared to previous models. Additionally, the new modern Quiet White color enhances the aesthetics of the unit.

Designed & assembled in the U.S.A., the AMANA PTAC meets UL 2-40 compliance standards and has been in production for over 45 years. The unit can achieve an EER value of up to 14.0 and is capable of cooling & heating an area of up to 550 sq. ft. Installation of the PTAC requires a sleeve & rear grille, which are not included in the purchase. The unit is designed as a stand-alone system for installation through the wall.

Included with the purchase is the AMANA MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, allowing users to control the PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat comes with the necessary antenna for communication between the unit & the thermostat. The PTAC operates at 230.0 volts and has a power cord with a 6-20 P plug. With its innovative features and improved design, the new AMANA PTAC "K" Series offers enhanced comfort and convenience for users.
