The new AMANA PTAC "K" Series has been redesigned to include integrated Bluetooth & RF connectivity, as well as the new AMANA brand mobile app. This updated design eliminates the need for a user-operated control pad, resulting in a more modern and streamlined appearance and operation. However, a wired or wireless wall thermostat is now required for operation.

The Bluetooth & RF connectivity allows for a quicker unit setting and configuration process, while also providing access to advanced features such as troubleshooting and diagnostics through the thermostat or the mobile app. Additionally, the unit features improved design and materials to reduce operating noise and minimize the transmission of exterior and operating sounds into the room. The Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating ensures a quieter environment compared to previous models, complemented by a new modern Quiet White color.

Manufactured in the U.S.A. for over 45 years, the AMANA PTAC is now capable of achieving an EER value of up to 14.0. For new installations, a sleeve and rear grille are required but not included. The unit fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size of 42'' x 16 1/16'' x 14 1/8'' and can effectively cool and heat an area up to 550 sq. ft. The power cord is 6-20 P.

With the purchase of the AMANA PTAC, customers will receive the AMANA MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, allowing control of the unit from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the necessary antenna for communication between the thermostat and the unit.
